Riley Conservation Club will be hosting a steel match Saturday July 4th. First shot is 10 am. Cost is $10 for the first gun and $5 for the second gun which is half off the regular price. Start making plans. I will be planning the stages in the next day or so and will announce round count at that time.

Come out and celebrate the birth of a great nation by firing a few rounds down range.

Four regular stages for 100 rounds min. (your round count may be more)
Three small stages run once each for another 12 rounds.
So if you are perfect you will need 112 rounds per gun.
I have requested the Texas Star be brought.

You will need 112 rounds to complete the match if you do not miss.

.44 magnum and down will be fine. 10-22's will be fine as well. See you Saturday. 9:30 should be fine.

How many mags needed? Cathy has 5 for her 1911, I've got 4 10 rounders for my 92FS. Sufficient, if we are able to make it?

Here are a few vids from the last Steel match I shot at Riley. Good info for any new shooters curious as to how it work.

Five is plenty assuming you can hit five targets in the eights shots. four ten rounders will work with the same assumption. hope you make it.
