Can someone get some general statistics like on gun crime rate before, during, and after the AWB so we can either throw some numbers into our questions or at least answer questions on them if someone else asks later?

I'll make it to at least the Newton meeting, probably Lowell too.

I'm going to the the Highland, Munster, Griffith deals. I'm not an internet whizz by any stretch of the imagination, but I was wondering if its possible to get the word out to EVERY website where pro 2A folks congregate that live in NW Indiana. The more of us that know about this the better. I live in Highland, and I didnt know anything about Petie showing up here till I stumbled onto it by accident. Also heard thru word-of-mouth that Visclosky was robbed while getting into his car after shopping awhile back...dont know how true it is though.:twocents:

Hmm, perhaps we should ask him. Maybe he should get a LTCH:D

Tell everyone you know, we need every meeting covered. We will be quoting statistics. The same statistics at every meeting.

Alright, how does this sound for our main focus?

    1. Ineffectiveness of banning firearms to prevent crime.
    2. Future AWB

If we still have the floor at this point I would be surprised. Any thoughts?

The first point will lead him on an answer for the second. Also, how does video taping it sound if applicable? We could grassroots youtube this thing.

Hum... Of all these places do we know which are "NO GUNS PER LAW" allowed zones?
PUC is off limits in terms of guns as is the Lincoln Center since it has a "children facility (day care i think). What about the libraries and town halls?

Petie is appearing at The American Legion post in Crown Point...is that a "no gun zone"? Interesting that he only shows up at ONE location where he might encounter pro-gun people. I'd like to ask him if HIS security people are armed, and if so WHY? If he is appearing at "gun-free" locations, WHY does he need ARMED SECURITY? We all show up at the various meetings, lock handguns in vehicles, post one or two of us outside to keep an eye on the vehicles......OR we can open carry EMPTY HOLSTERS to make a point, but that also runs the risk of giving the anti-gunners a stroke. Just thought I'd throw it out there.....:patriot:

The more people the better. I don't go to Purdue Cal but that is a great option. I'd like to make sure that if you are going because of this thread that the ineffectiveness of a past AWB is addressed and get his answer on a future AWB.
