I have read that the USPS is cheap in comparison to the postal services of other countries, but I am tiring of seeing our stamps rise in price. I realize the potential consequences of their demise but I am finding alternate ways of making payments to keep my stamp costs down.

I talked to my postman a while back and he is already planning his retirement. He says he will be leaving earlier than what he had ever previously planned for because he's not sure that he will actually have a job in the 5+ years in his original plan.
