No one but influencers have them, current wait time is 6~ months i believe. My Staccato P was the same price and worth every dime, if this ends up running I am ditching my P365x for one.

I still have not confirmed it but I believe the CS uses its own magazines, they finally shortened the tube for 9mm only now instead of 9mm/ 38 Super like the P, C2 and XC guns use.
Have mine in hand as of today. It utilizes its own magazine. It’s an amazing piece I can’t wait to shoot tomorrow.

Thank you for posting pictures , I am really interested to know what the outer diameter of the magazine tube is now. If you don't mind whenever you clean it next I would love to see the barrel and slide locking lugs, thinking they changed that based on the chamber cuts

Just read this after returning from the range. I will take it apart tomorrow and grab some pictures and measurements for you.
It shot like a dream. Recoil is about the same as my C2. I was shocked. 300 rounds down the barrel tonight and not one issue with it. Zeroed the optics 20 yards and it’s a tack driver. Slow fire, failure to stop drills, and some mag dumps with no issues. Was amazed at how well it shot.

Thank you very much! This is definitely next on my list for guns, honestly I would not be mad if the only handguns I shot were Staccatos

This one is on my list as well. Funds are a little low due to buying a C2 and a P lately. Might have to sell some others out of the safe.

I’m looking for a P. About to list my C2 for trade and see what comes up. I have the C, C2, and CS currently.

I've not shot the cs but all other experience with Staccato have been very nice. I've had a C and C2 and they were great. I'd say in my opinion they are worth the money.

They are very nice guns. But they can be finickey. Back a few years ago when Sticcato was known as STI, they built a lot of competition guns. Any major competitor would have their guns gone though and tuned their pistol and mags on first purchase or any replacement component. Now I've personally never had any issues with my DVC limited, but a lot of people would recommend against them as a duty gun back in those days. Now as for today, maybe Staccato has finally fine tuned their guns enough to be as reliable as my sig p226 perhaps, but I doubt it. They are tight tolerance smooth running guns who need to be custom fitted.

A lot of people compare them to a finely tuned sports car vs a Toyota carolla. One just works and will run forever. The other runs but needs love and attention to keep running prime. Just depends what you want.
Someone needs to tell my P it's supposed to be finicky. Right at 3500 rounds through it - a mix of 147gr AE, 115gr AE, 147gr HST, 124gr +P HST, 135gr Critical Duty, and 124gr NATO, without a single malfunction. She got a little sluggish when I went 400+ rounds without lubing it, but two drops of oil fixed that.

Everyone I know with one reports similar results.

I have run 115gr, 124gr of 5 different factory brands without a malfunction. the 1911 platform requires more lube than other platforms but other than that I don't see any concerns as a serious self defense tool. actually there are some advantages with my Staccato P vs my Glock G34. I would not understand it until I put rounds through both platforms. at this point it's more on my skill than on the gun that could cause an issue. the 1911 does require a higher level of skill to run well in my opinion.

I agree with you on this. I have over 2,000 rounds down the pipe of my C2, 1,200 down the barrel of my C and 700 rounds through my CS without one problem. Just wipe them down after range time and deep clean after about 1,000 rounds.

Staccato CS worth it? Lol, apparently it's worth it to some moron who has bid one up on GB to almost 3600.00! 1K over MSRP, that dealers laughing all the way to the bank.
