I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good spyware sweeper that is free?

only because it's the only Windows computer in the house. At least I'm not like my former boss.

CCleaner used it for years. Also zone alarm and spybot search and destroy.
Ad-aware used to be the best,but it seems to have more update issues of late and is less reliable now. All I mentioned are free.

I've used Super Anti-spyware with great results.

i use one called regscrub, spybot, and one called AVG free. they work well together

I use Lavasoft. I get it free through IUPUI though so i dont know if its free

Used that also (although it's retired software now). Just updated to the 2008 version.
