So, IT is on HBO, tried watching it again, saw it in the theater, and I just can't. Strange that I can watch some movies over and over again (LOTR I, II, and III, Wrath of Khan, The Green Berets, to name a few). Urgh, 450 channels and nothing is ON.
Yes I have, maybe this is the issue, judging the new against the old. I still plan on watching part 2.I could watch the original IT again. Have you seen that version?
We couldn't make it thru "Lost in Translation" the first time, can't comprehend a 2nd attempt.
I've only watched "The Road" and "There Will be Blood" once. Don't know if I'd be up for a second viewing of either.
The Last Jedi
"Lost in Translation" was awful. I never understood the hype around it when it came out.
"The Road" was a struggle to get through. I only finished it because I had already invested the time in the beginning.
I enjoyed "There Will be Blood" although I don't remember much of it. Not in a rush to see it again.
I watched this yesterday now that it's on Netflix. It was better than I expected, but way too long. I don't see myself investing another 2.5 hours anytime soon.
Some of the movies I can watch over and over include:
The Big Lebowski
Swingers
Rushmore
Coming to America
Trading Places
Tombstone
Point Break (this first one)
The Running Man
Total Recall (the first one)
Trainspotting
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
The Shawshank Redemption
Knocked Up
40 Year-old Virgin
The Goonies
True Romance
Top Gun
Half Baked
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
To name a few.
