SOLD AND GONE.
Picked this up from another very nice forum member a while back. This rifle is in good shape and shoots well, of course. I just prefer my Winchesters, so she’s up for sale or trade. Us Property Marked normally on the receiver and the bolt has last 4 of serial number in electric pencil, common for these, thanks .gov. These were sold off by the CMP quite a few years ago. 22 LR Target gun. Has an Al Freeland design aluminum adjustable buttplate. The factory Full length accessory rail is still in place on bottom. Target blocks for an older style, longer tube scope like a Lyman, Unertl, Fecker, etc.. It is not drilled for modern scope bases on the receiver. But you can buy a mount that uses the rear target block holes and provides a picatinny rail over the receiver, if you don’t have one of the older external adjustment scopes. I’ve used one on a 52 before with good results. No iron sights, it had none when I bought it. Barrel measures 28” long, 1.0” at the breach, .90” at the muzzle. A great shooting gun at 1/2 the cost of a comparable Winchester or Anschutz. Reduced to $700 FIRM. FTF in my area only. I work a lot and have limited travel time. Feel free to ask questions etc via the conversation button above. Thanks!
