SOLD $375
Springfield 2020 Rimfire Target .22LR w/threaded barrel
Included:
- Springfield cardboard box
- Springfield bag with 2 dedicated pockets inside
- 1/2 x 28 Threaded barrel w/included thread protector muzzle cap
- Crimson Trace BrushLine 3-9x40 rimfire scope
- Warne rings
- 10 round x1 Springfield rotary mag
- 10 round x1 Ruger rotary mag
When I saw this last month in the Classifieds I had to try one out for fun b/c I'd never had a Springfield rifle before.
I bought this new-in-the-box, never shot, from a member who was the original owner.
I put 545 rounds through it in 5 range visits.
Selling b/c I have a CZ 455 as my "keeper."
The original Springfield Armory 10 rd rotary magazine that came with the rifle worked great with 16 brands of ammo.
Ruger 10/22 mags are said to be compatible, but I found them to be inconsistent with feeding issues and/or seating issues.
I had one older Ruger 10 rd magazine that did work, even though the fitment was a little tight, but maybe that enabled it to work when the newer Ruger mags would not.
The Model 2020 Rimfire Target Specifications:
- reinforced black synthetic stock with a rubber recoil pad
- length of pull is 13.45”
- dual sling swivels for those who wish to add a sling or a bipod
- overall length: 38”
- weight: 7 lbs, 7 oz
- bolt is made from 4140 steel and wears a high polish white chrome coating
- 60-degree bolt throw & bolt comes out for cleaning with the press of a button
- bolt handle is threaded, allowing you to swap it with aftermarket knobs
- action features dual cocking cams
- 20" heavy profile free floated barrel 1:16 twist
- an interrupted Picatinny rail
- threaded 1/2 x 28 barrel
- included thread protector muzzle cap
- adjustable wide faced Remington 700-style trigger.
- extended magazine release
- (1) 10-Round Springfield Armory Rotary magazine
- MSRP: $434
Must have IN drivers license.
