Yesterday I swaged my 556 brass and started loading it. I am hoping to finish that today and get 9mm started. I want to get my loading out of the way because a friend is wanting to learn so when the .45 bullets come in, I can help him load 45 acp and 44 mag.
The past two day I got to try out the wet tumbler I bought at Harbor Freight. I must have missed seeing a sale price b/c it was $10 cheaper than listed. I took advice on what I had read here using it. Yes, the tub is small, but I ran a batch for 1 hr, then put that on the dehydrator, and started another batch. I could do that while I was prepping brass.

Just started working up some new 9mm loads using Alliant Sport Pistol. I am working up loads for RMR 124 gr JHP (MPR) rounds, and RMR 147 gr FP.

Load development is a slow process, but I do enjoy it.

Finished depriming the 5gal bucket of 38 brass. Might need some replacement parts for my frankford hand deprimer or another option for depriming besides on a press.

I finished doing 556 today. Switched my LCT to 9mm. Had to set it up as it was the 1st time doing 9mm. Once I got the dies set, it was smooth sailing. I love this turret press and the priming feature. I tried priming with it on 556 and 300 AAC but had all sorts of trouble, even after swaging. It was awesome to go through all the stages. I know it's not a progressive but I can get almost 200 bullets an hour. For my shooting and reloading, that's good enough for me!

I had some spare time tonight and ran a quick batch of 200 .45 ACP target loads. I’ll probably run another 300 rounds this week and then switch back to SPP and do some more .40.

Hard to beat a nice evening listening to old music while reloading.

De-primed a bunch of 45acp brass, and in the process I learned that I believe the hand primer I have is missing pieces, and the prime built into my press doesn't work great or I'm dumb.....maybe all 3.

.223, but converting military brass to use for this.

I have done so many in the past couple of months, for one, I am done re-sizing and de-priming of all the reusable brass I own.
But now I see shiny things going into dark places when I close my eyes.
    :):
I have done the primer pocket prep. Just a matter now of cutting to proper length.

All with single stage press (Rock Chucker) and hand methods.

I have to buy some more primers and bullets to get through this over five thousand quantity batch. I have about half enough. Good on powder, for now, but I will run out toward the end.

    FUN!

I know some do this in far greater quantities, but this is my ME time and my favorite hobby.

Spent 35minutes de-priming 44mag brass only to notice towards the end that it's actually 38spl/357 mag brass.
