I tightened up the crimp. (Left one)

Also, just noticed...the load data from Hodgdons website doesn’t mention trimming the case to 1.240. If I’d left it at 1.285, it would have crimped at the cannelure. Not sure how to move forward.

The manual I always use for trim length(Speer #14) says 1.280 trim length for .357 mag. FWIW.

I, personally, like my crimps in the middle of the cannelure if not a bit higher. There are people here with much more expertise than me.

    I made empties today. 9mm, 357, and 308.
Also tumbled, prepped, and primed the 308s again. I picked up a pound of IMR4895 to try so ladder loads are my next project.

Can anyone recommend a clean pistol powder for 9mm, 357, 44 mag, and 45ACP? I’m starting to notice that TiteGroup is getting dirty.

Loading 158 gr SWC lead over .26 grams of AA#2. The boolits are homecast from wheelweights, water quenched, sized to .357 and tumble lubed using a recipe from Cast Boolits website/forum. The recipe is 45% Johnson Paste Wax, 45% Alox, and 10% Mineral Spirits. Works good for all my cast boolits. When I cast for .357 mag and .44 mag, I use gas check molds and use a solid lube recipe. I cast in .380, .40, .38 spl/.357 mag and .44 spl/mag.

My most accurate load for my SR1911 uses #2 and a Precision 200gn swc. In my GP100 Bullseye still beats out #2 for accuracy, but not by much.

My only "real special" loads are for hunting with my .44 mag. I use 240 gr SWC cast boolits purchased from X-Treme over Red-Dot in Star Brass with Winchester primers. My lever gun loves this round and the deer hate it.

    Lots more 9 mm:
124 gr RMR or Montana Gold JHP
    3.4 gr Clays
    Wolf primer

On the Lee Loadmaster. Still looking for an easy way to load the bullet feeder - that's the slowest part of the whole process.

Working up some .40 loads for USPSA Limited Major. Looks like I have a nice load with WST and 180 gr. plated bullets from Blue Bullets.

Now, I need to start cranking some out before the season starts... Sore elbow, here I come!

.45 acp for my new Colt 1911. Working on COAL with a few different bullets and two powders: Bullseye and CFE Pistol. Going to work up load ladders for each and then test fire each small batch. We will get this dialed in and then enjoy cranking out rounds on the Dillon 550.

Well decided to load up some more .40s on the 550 tonight. It was more of a setup night as the big day will be tomorrow during all the rain. I had to change everything from 6.5G back to .40 and then had a few minor kinks to work out. 5gr of Universal behind a 165gr Xtreme RNFP is one of my better loads.
