So I thought I had posted this long ago but could not find it by myself or another member.

I have seen many times people who had bought the m&p 15-22 complain about the pinned stock.

    1. Get drill bit slightly larger than the pin center.
    2. Drill slightly into the pin.
    3. The drill will snag the pin and work it free.
    4. Once it spins it is ready to pull out.
    5. The stock collapses with a push of the button.

Interesting. Mine just came off like a standard AR. I replaced it with a B5 stock. Is this on an older one by chance? I bought mine this past fall.

Mine too.. just pull the adjustment handle and slide the stock off. Maybe a restricted state model eh! Thanks for posting I always like reading about this cool rifle.

I have only shot mine a couple times but I'm looking forward to shooting it quite a bit as the weather warms. I did quite a bit of extra work to mine, mostly for fun since it wasn't an expensive rifle to start with.

Yes, I've had mine for a couple of years. They were coming pinned to prevent the adjustment of the stock and shortening it.
Thought I'd post just in case there was someone else on here scratching their head.

    * I realize I said collapse, I should have said adjustable.
