How about the like button? Several other forums that I am on have it still.
I believer the rep system is one of the failing plug ins for the Vbulletin format that is or has failed. There is little if any support for this anymore.

Many many many current vbulletin-based forums have functioning rep systems.
I fully agree. The forum I used to admin has over 450,000 members and we never had a problem with the rep system or posting Youtube videos like there is here. It's funny how the rep system worked for many years then suddenly had a "problem" and was scaled back.
I think there's a new issue with resolving URLs to the title of the page referenced.
So, if I pasted this:
https://www.indianagunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=444260&p=7280351&viewfull=1#post7280351
It used to automatically show something like this:
Gpiashvnhshryrhgghwghsn's post about youtube
A case of beer showed up in my fridge. Does anyone know who this belongs to?

The BBC always worked before, although some sites didn't.This has been a long-time issue, can't tell if it's the fault of the forum or the website being linked. Some links resolve, some don't. 90% of the time, I'm manually copy/pasting the header because it's not being translated.
What issues do you have with embedding YouTube videos here?
Using the [video] tags, it has to be the full URL, like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ
...and can't be the shortened version, like https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ
When Youtube switched over to SSL it was just a matter of adding the new header to VB's setup files. It took me all of about 10 minutes to do it.as to the youtube "issue" I think that is probably caused by youtube switching to encrypted traffic. You probably had no problem years ago because that was before the default url was http. Now that it defaults to https (which vbulletin doesnt like) its a minor issue.

The http tag works. The https tag doesn't. FYI the shortened version youtu.be does work as long as you don't use the SSL link.

Do you like BBC?
