When people inquire about buying an old Colt 1 or 2 gen I always advise that they find one and try cocking the hammer. The old guns have much heavier springs than any repro or modern gun, a testament to the primers of the day.

    I got to try one.....TRUTH.

The Colt was a game changer in its day....much like the Walker was in its day.

So, what brand did you choose? Mine doesn’t even show as shipped yet. 6 days now. (Midway).

Nice leather work, good looking outfit. does it holster with no hassle?

I was a bit concerned about it being essentially a "costume" piece, but it is actually well made for the money. Shipping and service was top notch.

This place below is much higher quality..... Its on the "wish list" for a lucky day....or if the better half is serious about no horses...LOL!

I had issues finding a holster for the smaller framed Cimarron "Lightning". The holster I ordered was too big. I fixed it by adding a grommet.

So just got off phone with midway they say I will have my belt and holster by the 14th, I think they screwed something up. It’s been a week, now another week, that doesn’t sound right. I’ll see.

    Not at all, here.

You got me on track to get my own rig. It came yesterday, Sat. I’ll put the holster on the belt, shine up the old shooter and post some pics. tomorrow after chores.

I’ve only got a box or maybe two of shells, so shooting it will be minimal, don’t even know where to find 41 mag. but I’m going to find out. I can only imagine dies and bullets are impossible to find.
