    .- ...- --- -.
My youngest daughter wanted to eat at The Cheesecake Factory for her birthday. I didn't bother looking for signs while I was concealed carrying for that lunch.

If it hadn't been her request, we wouldn't have been at that mall, or anywhere near there.

I wouldn't expect to see any signs there since technically it isn't in the mall. I don't know if Simon can dictate policy to the restaurants that are in outbuildings. I know I've OC'd in Fridays and Applebee's both at Greenwood mall.

    Where's the bacon?
Why does it take four Paul Blarts to escort a guy out of the mall? If they were concerned there would be "trouble," 1) why didn't they call the real police, and 2) what good would three more unarmed guys do?

Why does it take four? Simple, good sir. They thought he could possibly be YOU! :):

Or, more likely, one had it handled, but the other three wanted to be able to brag that they helped stop the "threat".

I try to avoid Simon properties whenever possible. If I do need to go there I make it as brief as possible and I CC as I usually do. I have NO interest in their foolish policies and allowing them to make me a potential victim. I believe that incident in Dayton, OH where a man was confronted by a gunman outside a shoe store was at a Simon property. Had he followed their stupid rules he might have ended up dead!

I would have crop dusted their team every step of the way. After that, they'd think twice before a repeat!

There was a thread where Jetgirl? posted a picture of the mall sign. Roughly it said a double negative. Dont - not carry at the mall.

Was in a Simon mall yesterday from one end to the other...several times. Only used 1 entrance but saw no signs...cc'd as normal. Saw a lot of security guards, not one of them appeared to be worth much. One looked like a jr. hi boy that would wet his pants if you said "Boo" to him.

I received a Barnes & Noble gift card today for Christms so it looks like I'll be making a trip to the University Park Mall sometime soon. Sigh...Why did they have to move the store to the mall?!

I'm sure you can use gift cards online, although you might have to pay for shipping.
