"Friday on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” President Barack Obama seemingly downplayed the threat of ISIS in an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos that aired on Friday’s broadcast of “Good Morning America.” Stephanopoulos asked Obama if ISIS was gaining in strength, to which Obama denied they were.

“I don’t think they’re gaining strength,” Obama responded. “What is true is that from the start, our goal has been first to contain and we have contained them".

Too bad our CinC believes that success is achieved by closing with and containing the enemy. I didn't read that FM at Army school. I had the misprinted edition that indicated "destroy" was the objective. And here the media was all giddy this morning to report that Jihadi John was dead as if it were VJ (Victory over Jihad) Day 2015.

My heart goes out to the people of France right now. I remember what it was like on 9/11, when each broadcast brought worse news than the one before it. Before you could even think it could get no worse, it got worse. I imagine that is what they are going through tonight.

Depends on the perspective I guess , hopefully the innocent Parisians found some peace tonight . Hopfully their loved ones can also .
