    That woman really drove the point home for women...they are at a distinct disadvantage against an attacker without a firearm to protect not only themselves, but their children as she pointed out.

    I think the point Ms. Trotter was trying to make is that a mom can and should learn to use a "scary gun", in that it is just the opposite. It is not scary but is an effective home defense weapon.
