Whatever you decide to do sir, your decision will be respected. Thanks for all you have done to place INGO among the very best firearm forums available today.

Scutter, I do hope that you stay. I understand if you would need sometime to just take those deep breaths and relax. I am glad to have met you at the NWI Meet and Shoot, not once, but twice. Even though I am new to the board here, I have to say, I am glad to not only have see you on here, posting, and enjoy reading your posts, but I have to say that I am glad to have gotten to know you in person. I respect your decision either way, as we had talked about at the last meet and shoot, however, I would hope that you just take some time away, as the work that you do (and I do mean WORK!!!!!!!!) is one of the reasons why this is the only forum that I am on. I would ask you to stay, because I am selfish, but understand completely and support your decision if you step down. I really do hope that you stay on here as well.

As is true of all of us, you must chart your own course for your own reasons. I certainly can understand the frustration of investing a great deal of work in an often thankless pursuit, but please don't feel that your efforts have not been appreciated. Wherever your path leads, I wish you the best!

Scutter, I have never been in a position such as yours, so i cannot relate to what you're going through. Regardless of the decision though, I will be very sad if you vanish from INGO altogether. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you at the NWI meet & shoot and I hope to see you out there again! I wish you the best of luck with whatever path you choose! :)

I used to mod...forums can be more needy then toddlers.
Stressful at times....and there is bound to be lots of disagreements between other staff and even owner sometimes.

Do what you need to do man, im sure everyone will understand.

As far as im concerned your a pretty bad dood ...and a good mod aswell :)

Scutter, I hope you just take a break, months long if necessary.
If not, then I hope you stay on INGO at least.
Either way, I understand and respect your decision.
I still hope to see you occasionally at nwi meet & shoots, though I know that is a long drive.

Looks like it's a done deal. I would've done the same thing too if something stressed me out that much. Time to enjoy life again. :yesway:

I have no idea who in the H... Scutter is ... but it's a cool name so you should stay on as Mod. I'll just say most of us don't complain but appreciate your work. Best to ya what ever you decide.

Being a censor for a group full of libertarians is an impossible job. I'm new here and missed what happened. My 2 interactions with Scutter were for unintentional violations of the faq. I was properly corrected. Scutter answered my PM's about these promptly, but humorlessly. I got the impression he was w/o a sense of humor, or just worn out and stressed. I now see it was the latter. Scutter, what will we do w/o any real adult supervision. Herding cats has never been easy. I would think that with this job on your resume, you would test out for the Navy Seals, or chuckle, chuckle, write '50 Shades of Grey' for guys. If you start laughing more, you'll know you are on the right track. Cheers & GL.
As for me, (and what would a post from me be w/o making it about me), I've always been off the tracks a bit. My favorite (Golden) book as a kid was 'Tootles.' Never got the point.

I'm really not as familiar with the quality of moderation as I should be by now, but I can say that I miss the monocled tuxedo shark already.
