The Steel Challenge Match is ON for Saturday the 16th at Atlanta Conservation Club. The predicted temp. is decent for a change. I will send a “NO-GO” email on Friday ONLY if the forecast changes appreciably. WINTER HOURS for most things, but set-up starting at 8:30 AM due to new gear.
PLEASE DRIVE AND PARK ON GRAVEL. (THERE ARE SOME NEW SOFT SPOTS THAT HAVE APPEARED IN THE GRASS NEAR THE BARN. I FOUND ONE SUCH SPOT 2 WEEKS AGO…)

POLICY AT ACC: THE ACC MEMBERSHIP RECENTLY VOTED AND CLEARLY STATED THAT LATE REGISTRATION AT MATCHES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED FOR ANY REASON. MISSING ANY PART OF THE SHOOTER'S MEETING IS CONSIDERED A BREECH OF SAFETY, (DISQUALIFYING YOU FROM THE MATCH).
The clubhouse will be closed. Check-in and cash payments will be near, or in, the “Annex” (shed).

On match days, ACC IS A COLD RANGE. DO NOT "GUN-UP" IN, OR AT, YOUR CAR --- USE THE SAFE AREAS, PREFERABLY WITH AN R.O., OR JUST WAIT UNTIL THE FIRST STAGE.
You can load magazines anywhere EXCEPT THE SAFE AREAS. DO NOT remove your gun from its box or bag until you are on the line, ready to compete. (Or you are at one of the SAFE AREAS, with an R.O. :: For example - if you need to clean something.)

Bring 200+ rounds of ammo per entry - - - (Minimum round count :: about 130 rounds).

GUN OF THE MONTH :: PCCI (PISTOL CALIBER CARBINE; IRON SIGHTS). ( Just a suggestion - - you don't have to enter this Division. It is a, "Hey - Let's all shoot our _____ guns this month!!" kind of idea.)
SCSA Divisions are:
PROD = Production; Double action and “Safe action”. All GLOCKs, Beretta 92, SIG 229, 226 . . .
CO = Carry Optic; (Essentially Production, but with an Optic red-dot installed).
LTD = Limited; Single action 1911’s with IRON sights, no compensators. Springfield XDs.
SS = Single Stack; Essentially Limited, but with recognition for having only 9+1 rounds available).
ISR = Iron Sight Revolver, IRON sights. NO MAGNUM CALIBERS.
OSR = Open Sight Revolver, OPTIC sights allowed. NO MAGNUM CALIBERS.
Open; Anything goes (semi-automatic).
PCCI = Carbine; CF PISTOL calibers, IRON sights. NO MAGNUM CALIBERS.
PCCO = Carbine; CF PISTOL calibers, OPTIC sights allowed. NO MAGNUM CALIBERS.
RFPI = RimFire Pistol Iron; .22LR, IRON sights. Pistol.
