Does anyone know if you can get by with engraving just the city of manufacture on a lower to satisfy NFA rules? I seem to remember reading a blog somewhere to that nature. the reason being that the manufacturer of the lower already had their name on it and it is now being converted to a SBR in city "XXXXXX" Also can you form 4 the SBR as caliber "multi"? I'm familiar with the form 4 but am questioning the multi caliber option. I have purchased them where the paperwork listed ALL calibers that company offered for that rifle.

You cant do "multi" put the caliber you intend to build it. You can change it later without notifying the ATF. They request you notify them if it is a permanent change.

On a Form 1 individual, since you are the one "manufacturing" the sbr you must at a minimum put your name and city/state on the receiver.

At least that's what my class 3 dealer told me.
