S&W 44 mag price

Could someone who knows tell me what a reasonable price would be for an excellent condition S&W 29-8 Mountain gun, blue Cabellas edition be? I have a friend wanting to buy mine and don't have a clue how much to ask him for it. Have all the factory stuff that goes with it. Thanks for any help guys.

If you get on GunBroker and create an account, and sign in, you can search recently completed auctions. That's one way to get a price. It's a fair representation of what they're going for.

If using gb also depends if you're going to ask full price or give the friend discount.

That's a tough one, they made a similar version in 2003, a stocking dealer special, and one sold on GB for 1275.00 then they came out with a TALO version and then the Cabelas version. Some think the Cabelas version were just left over Talo's. I saw one Cabelas Mountain Gun on Guns International for 1175.00 but it's still for sale.
