What's the possibility safely using your steel with rifles?
What I have-3/8" 10 and 12" Rounds and Squares AR500
Calber I'd be shooting-.308, 30-06, 30-30 and .223/5.56; the ammo is FMJ and HP along with some SP thrown in. All ammo is traditional with lead or polymer tip but I am curios about using the steel core 5.56 I have.
Range-I'd probably start at 100 yards and go out.
How well should I expect these plates to hold up? Any problem usng them at 100 yards and a. 30 cal at 2800fps muzzle velocity? These will hang with a slight downward angle (5degrees or so) and will be able to swing since being suspended by chains.
