It may not pass the Senate, but if it gets there, it is a step in the right direction.

The enemy of our Republic understands this. They knew they didn't have the votes to remove DJT, but they tried anyway. They know trannies don't belong anywhere near children and their deviant ideology does not belong in our schools, yet they persist.

Our side needs to run with as zealous, or a more zealous, playbook for our ideals than theirs does. If they want us to walk a mile with them, we need to drag them by the hair for two miles.

This effort is no more a waste of time or energy than breaking the finger of the kid on the school bus who puts his finger three inches from your face and says, "I'm not touching you..."

Managing a Republic requires a moral people. Preserving a Republic requires a degree less of that same morality.

Right after the war with British congress informed Washington’s men they weren’t going to pay them for their service. That night they gathered in a barn and decided to march to Congress and kill all of them. Washington found out and talked them out of it. I sometimes wonder if he now regrets it. The difference being that Republicans need to hold open hearings and not fabricate evidence or try to sell their agenda through targeted "leaks" of questionable provenance - not that they need to do that, apparently, in Biden's case.
