What would be great is if they asked questions about expanding gun rights, move the discussion in the opposite direction, no more arbitrary sbr restrictions, suppressor s without tax stamps

That would light the liberals' hair on fire! Tanks for everyone! :)

But seriously, it would be great to hear suggestions like that...

I think it'd be a smart move on their part, especially in the primary.

The NRA and gun community has some crazy influence. I would have to agree with you that it would be beneficial. It would help "benchmark" the gun rights argument. When liberals are talking about taking away assault rifles, it doesn't seem as bad to the general public when they "settle" for high capacity mags. Conservatives should be doing the same thing, just in the opposite direction. Propose something crazy, and take small steps!

Chris Christie, says Obama's gun policies aren't the problem it's how he goes about implementing those policies....no...no it's the policies christie.

Well, I don't think it is much of a secret that TubO'Lard has zero regard for liberty and is all about excessive government.

The accusation was that Christie favoured the same policies, Christie didn't deny he agreed with "common sense" gun measures, he just said the way Obama went about it was wrong

So strange how these guys are acting like they've never heard of Executive Orders before. Presidents have been cranking out some pretty scary Orders for years.

Very true. My biggest concern here is that they generally don't get much attention or actual use in practice. What happens when we have a president get really stupid using old ones which were never addressed by congress and when called out on it, asks, "What are you complaining about? That has been on the books since your grandpa was sh*tting diapers."

Tell that to the people in San Bernardino.

And Philadelphia, Paris, Jakarta, etc., etc.

The accusation was that Christie favoured the same policies, Christie didn't deny he agreed with "common sense" gun measures, he just said the way Obama went about it was wrong

Which is precisely why I said both are wrong: the policies and how Obama goes about implementing them.

Tell that to the people in San Bernardino.

Adam Lanza committed the most despicable of mass shootings without needing Isis to tell him to.
Daesh isn't going to storm the US beaches and the US will have domestic terrorist problems no matter if daesh holds cities in iraq or of they were completely wiped out tomorrow.
Isis isn't going to get you.
