Refinishing my Kimber Stainless Covert and rounding the butt **Pic Heavy**

Talked to Kimber before I started this, I read on the internet that they had refinished some Kimpro guns with KimproII. My gun was too old and they were no longer offering that for free However they would be happy to coat it w/ KimproII for around $400 + shipping and stripping the old finish No way if they couldn't do it right the first time or fix what they clearly admit is defective (I could care less of the age) for free, they will not get a dime from me.

$400? Couldn't you get a ceracote job for less than that? If not, then I may have to start doing it myself!

I wonder if I am eligible for this? My gun was manufactured in Jan '11. But then again, it almost isn't worth the hassle and frustration of dealing with the sh1tty KimPro finish again.
