Recommendation for Hotel in Richmond, Indiana

I was wondering if this would be the area to ask, then I saw someone else asked the same about a different city.

So.. I need recommendation of a good hotel in Richmond, Indiana. I have read the reviews and they are all over the place, and of course the pics are always great. They just edit out the pimp on the corner lol.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Anything on the far east side will be fine. I cant remember the exit number, but its the last/first exit in Indiana.

The Sherman House Restaurant & Inn | Since 1852

Might check this place out. Never been there myself, but have heard good things. Plus side it is said to be haunted.

Thats in Batesville about 1-1.5 hour's away from richmond.

Exit 156a The holiday inn is brand new, Hampton inn, and Fairfield inn ( Fiarfield address is New Paris Ohio) but it's 2 blocks from the other two. Just remember if you go into OH they don't recognize our ltch. I'd stay away from most other hotels in Richmond.

The Lee's Inn was fine last time I was there. A few years back 3-4 I guess. Same exit on the east side.
