Just wanted to say Vortex customer service is awesome! I somehow managed to break the throw lever on my PST 1-4 this last weekend at ACC. Guessing it got hung up when I slammed my AR in a dump barrel, not sure how else it would've happened. Looks like it actually bent the puzzle piece connection and slid off, cause it was still screwed in when I pulled it off. Pics:

Anyhoo, I emailed Vortex Tuesday and got a new lever in the mail today. Old one's on it's way back to them. Vortex rocks! :rockwoot:

Nice to know you got one coming, that means the one I backordered should be shipping soon.

So, before you broke it, how's you like it? ;)
Actually, they were out of stock of the new versions (like the one I broke) and sent me an old one. Just remembered that. I did like it in the short time I've had it. I think I only used it once in a course of fire at Hillside, and I've only had it for about a month or two. Obviously it makes changing the magnification quicker & easier, and until this weekend it seemed solid.

I might have to contact them... I have a couple sparcs that I quit using bc of battery drain issues... It seems that either they were continuously being "bumped" on in my range bag or the auto-off feature wasn't working properly. I packed a few guns up and drove to FL to visit a friend. One had just had the SPARC installed, new battery and all, sighted in, then put in the range bag. Got to FL and it was dead; wouldn't come on at all. New battery fixed it. I just got frustrated, took it off, and never messed with it again. That's been over a year ago now...

Make sure you check the NV button. A lot of time folks think their battery is dead, bit its jsut on NV mode.
