To start, I was taking my dog out to pee two nights ago in the back 40 down by the creek. It was 11:30 at night, windy, and cloudy, but there was a full moon, and it was so bright you could almost read a book by moonlight. I got out the iphone and took this.

Along the lines of great pictures from the outdoors. I've been seriously considering getting a better camera. My smart phones have done a good enough job to this point, but I'm at a point where I want to do better. Any suggestions?

Beautiful photo! I had a Nikon film camera way back when, it was a solid performer, my mom has a Nikon digital that has been good to. I guess I’m throwing the Nikons out there, but that’s as specific as I can get, been out of it for a long time.

LOL, only if I get to go as your little hunting buddy.

That picture was taken from the top of a hill/mountain in Glacier View Alaska from near the top of a trail called "Lions Head". It was a pretty tough trail bordering on brutal, but the views where like a punch in the gut that would stop a person dead in their tracks. As great as that picture is, it's a pile of dog poo compared to seeing it with your own eyes and does it no justice whatsoever.
