Assuming we're not talking revolvers or that opens up another can of worms
Yeah I was referring to semi/autos. I have several S&W revolvers and I’d never buy anything else as far as DA revolvers go. My pre lock 686 is probably one of my favorite guns and I’ll never part with it. The da/sa smith pistols though are nice shooters but something about them is just not that nice looking to me. They also seem to be hard to find in decent condition. My dad has a 659 and 639 but he isn’t willing to part with either one of them. Haha

My Girsan Regard Sport G4 (“G” model) is a great pistol.
I have had several P226 Sigs over the course of time. Great pistols.
An unsung hero for me was the Taurus PT99. I liked the controls on the frame mounted safety over the M9/92 “F” slide mounted ones. Never warmed up to those.

I really like the CZ 75 decockers, and I prefer that style of carry vs cocked and locked. There's something about an all metal DA/SA decocker, I don't know man. As a lefty, I'm not really fond of the control layout on a lot of Sigs. Haven't shot an HK or Walther yet.

    My favorites:
    1) CZ 75/85 variants (with a little TLC/break in)
    2) CZ Omegas
    3) Beretta 92
    4 Tie) FNX / PX4

My Sig Legion has one of the best DA/SA triggers I have ever felt. I must admit that the Wilson and the LTT Beretta DA/SA triggers are about equal to the Legion.

    HK P7 Technically not a DA/SA but….
    CZ75 Series
    CZ P07/09
    Tangfolio CZ copies like Witness
    Beretta 93
    Sig P Series
S&W 1-3 Series metal framed pistols
    Walther P5, P38

Yes, I’ve owned and shot all of those at one time or another.

My favorite semiautomatic pistol triggers are on 1911s and High Powers but carry P7 or CZ for edc.

Cz 75 has been the best for me and has outperformed all others up to this point with me being the biggest variable. They feel and point the most natural for me. Ymmv. It’s hard to go wrong with a metal sig or 92. I don’t dislike them but to me they are no Cz

Best SA/DA gun I've ever fired was a Rossi 720 in stainless. Smooth, light, crisp. I bought it used and figured someone must've worked on. It didn't come from the factory like that. Only had 1 SA/DA semi-auto - a Sig P220. I hated it.
