For summer carry H&K P2000. Winter carry is a USPc .45.
The P226 is an outstanding pistol as well. Just big for me to carry.

I was going to mention this. I have an older Beretta 92F that I installed the "G" conversion kit into. It's definitely NOT a concealed carry gun. However, out of all the pistols I own, it is the one that I keep taking to the range to have fun with. It is a smooth shooter and is plenty accurate enough for me.

If money was not an object, I would get one of these.....

CZ 75Bs are my favorite DA/SAs in 9mm. For other calibers, I like the P229 and P226 when shooting .40 or .357 Sig. For DA/SA in .45, it's hard to beat a P220.

Assuming we're not talking revolvers or that opens up another can of worms

First place would have to be the classic Sig. I like compacts but the P226 is great, too. I like the ergonomics (I'm a huge fan of the Sig decocker), the trigger is very crisp, and the build quality is supurb.

A close second is the Beretta 92X ("G" model...no manual safeties for me on a DA/SA gun). I like the vertec grip over the original, the trigger is excellent, and the action is incredibly smooth.

The CZ is just OK. I like the grip, but the small slide surface makes it hard to grasp, the DA trigger reach is too long even for my big hands, and the factory DA pull feels like you're pulling a cinder block down a gravel road. Yes, the trigger can be fixed, but it's expensive and the other two guns listed above don't need that...they're good out of the box.
