    I still figure we cold laser it from the ground if we wanted, how many watts would it take to make a small hole in it? Weather is clear as we can see from the photos so limited degradation of the beam strength.
    Slow target moving at relatively constant speed, so beam holding is simple and deposition time as high as you like

    A few kilowatts would do the trick unless the material was highly reflective. We could tell that by observing it in the wavelengths the proposed takedown laser would operate in

    I just had a thought. Maybe the ChiComs are surveying all the land they have been scarfing up.
