At least that one looks old enough where you don't have to keep changing the intake gaskets and I know the '79 era
small blocks would round off the camshafts.

I saw a red suburban in Brownsburg (only saw it from the rear) yesterday that put me in the mind of yours. I was like hey, isn't @mom45 a long way from home?

Love that series/Era of the suburban as well as the blazer. Reminds me of my youth and trucks my uncle had.

My red one is red and white two tone. I just saw an ad for a 1990 one owner burb (white) for sale in Plainfield for a good price. Rust free. Looks like I should own it but I was told no....this one doesn't mind company, but hubby is mean.

I have to be honest, I'm not sure I would buy another Blueprint engine at this point. It will be fine once hubby fixes their crappy workmanship, but don't count on their warranty cause you are on your own.

The one I saw was red and white as well. I only saw the tailgate but
guessing it was same as yours. Though I could not see condition of the rest of it.
