Not really a gunsmithing question, but not sure where to put this. I have a Browning Buckmark with the black, factory hard rubber grips. I thought it would be fun to have the grips be a different color. Has anybody had success spray painting or duracoating hard rubber grips? I see neat pictures and thought I might experiment myself.

kinda off subject but i order some wood grips for my 1911 and they came in two different colors? so i just scuffed and primered black and they came out great lol. i have painted hard rubber objects before but it depends on how flexable they are. if there not stiff enough it will crack the paint over time.
