Hello everyone
Ive been a member here for some time, but not overly active. I've learned a lot since I first joined, both from the forum and personal ventures.
Firearms really began to intrugue me after college. The technology and tooling to make them has far surpassed what most firearms were originally designed and built using. The Timing behind the operations of a semi auto, or an automatic are interesting to me. Just imagine how much is going on in an M134, how quickly the operations have to happen.
Asode from that, I tinker quite a bit.
I started a few years ago by building a AR kit (which is pretty simple). Since I've taken on more projects like converting a Saiga, which aside from having the barrel threaded for remchokes - I did myself. I've done 80% ARs, (15s & 10s). Cerakoted those ARs, done a handgun and a few shotguns. (An 1100 for the gf is up next, but have to do some stock work first)
Ive pondered building a can, but haven't ever taken the plunge.
I reload and have started casting, so far only cast for a 300BLK, but may try it in a 308 soon.
