The only places I can find are Wildcat Valley and Linden Conservation Club.

#1, for Wildcat, I'm not gonna drop $250 for the first year since I intend to move to Iowa by this time next year.

#2, I just want a place I can show up, pay, and shoot at. There aren't any "clubs" that are close so I'm not entertaining the idea of working for them.

The only public range I've been able to locate is up in the Jasper-Pulaski state park, but that's an hour and 15min north of here.

I guess I got spoiled by shooting on our farm back home.

    Any help?

    Thanks guys!

At Linden, you can just show up, pay, and shoot. Open to the public Saturdays and Sundays, $10 for the day. Or, you can join. $75 per year for a family membership. They've raised the rates, and dropped the work requirements. Though you can surely pitch in if you want!

I really like LCC, but I can surely see being spoiled by just being able to shoot at home. Hopefully, we'll be able to be in a position where we can do just that in a couple years!

    What about Jasper Pulaski?

Looks like it would take me over an hour to get there. With .223 hovering between $.40 and $.50 a round and diesel sitting right at $3, I was trying to keep my travel limited.

Awesome! I was looking at the website last night and didn't see anything about being open to the public. I wouldn't have an issue with working, but work has been kicking my arse (since this is my first year with the company) and my wife and I don't seem to hang out enough as it is. That has been limiting me to wanting to just pay to play.I might have to get out to Linden one of these weekends now. Thanks!
