If the whole yard looked the same I would be the envy of my hood.We have those little bright green, healthy mushroom clouds of grass growing in our yard, too.
I wish I could spread them around.

Afternoon all. Work got crazy busy.
Leeks? We have them and horses love them and wow they are strong. Get some on me after mowing..!I got some wild garlic or something on me... whew, it is pungent
Thistle is a PITA...I have so many weeds coming. Mostly thistles.
Some you just pull or scuffle hoe, fresh newly sprouted. They have seed leaves at the bottom of the stalk.
But some need to be sprayed, because there's a kind of potato down below where the part you can grab just breaks off. Then the, old from last year, base sends new growth right back up.
I've been trying to show my daughter the difference. She'll get it, but not today.
"My give up."
We never had thistles until we had a crazy neighbor nextdoor that only mowed his lawn 2 or 3 times a season and allowed all kinds of crap to grow and bloom and spread their seeds everywhere. Since then, they've been horrible and no matter how I try I can't seem to get rid of them.Thistle is a PITA...
Susan had a Chihuahua named Samantha (Sammy) when I first met her. Sammy didn't like anyone, but she wound up being my little buddy. She would run with the Rottweilers along the back fence, and honestly I don't think she realized she was smaller than them. Here he is from last Monday. My daughter took forever to get the shot she wanted. Dogs don't like having their eyes blocked.
Tiny 9 pound Ninja Warrior Beast. Actually her dog.
But he's a regular dog. Everything you would expect of a dog, just super compact.
Awesome little guy! Took me a while to realize tiny dogs are cool, too. View attachment 347101
