I came for the Easter bunny and a solar eclipse.
I guess everyone missed that mum already ended the bunny thing?

...and well, apparently the solar eclipse may be rescheduled?

Given what happened to the Easter Bunny, I will never doubt the power of a mum.

    :)

So, I'm looking to get a flowering tree. TSC has the for 40.00,no guarantee. lowes has them for 95 with 1 year warranty.
I'm inclined to buy two at TSC a d take my chances.
    Any opinions!
I picked up a couple of peach trees from TSC last year. They are still alive and doing well.
The kiwi I picked up from lowes is dead.

I would go with TSC, but your mileage may vary.

What kind of flowering tree do you want? Redbuds, crabapples, dogwood and tulip trees seem to all do well here. Bradford pear are not recommended due to being invasive and usually end up breaking off in storms. I seem to manage to dig up starts of the ones I suggested above pretty easily by asking friends who have them in their yards. They are also native to Indiana so I'm sure that helps them to survive our growing zone better.

Got the big bed about 2/3 done and the trailer is loaded again. Making a pretty good dent in the mulch pile. Getting ready to take Susan to get her pump taken off now.

I put together a metal shelf I got for the utility room, so I had to clean it, when ended up doing the wood floors in the kitchen as well. I got the dog and cat food off the floor and on the shelf…
