One World Gov. , Conspiracy or Not ?

James Warburg, son of CFR [Council on Foreign Relations] founder Paul Warburg, delivered blunt testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on February 17, 1950:

“We shall have world government, whether or not we like it. The question is only whether world government will be achieved by consent or by conquest.”

What say ye INGO , are we puppets ?

Clever word play , statements taken out of context or an actual conspiracy ?

We could definitely head that way through the UN. It appears our current regime would love to begin relinquishing our sovereign rights to UN control.

Word play? No. I didn't see a single instance of anyones words being taken out of context.

Creative editing? Unless we go back and read the entire article containing each persons statements, we will never know. It is entirely plausible that each persons statement was taken out of context and had nothing to do with creating a one world government or validate any conspiracy theories. However, I doubt this is the case.

Conspiracy? This is the most likely scenario. They say that the easiest way to keep something hidden is to hide it in plain sight. I also believe it was one of the greatest liars and the most evil individual I can think of that said if you tell a big enough lie long enough, it becomes the truth. I know that isn't his statement verbatim, but the fact is that Hitler told us what they were doing but no one really wants to learn from this evil evil man!

Sadly, Americans don't want to face the cold hard truth. They don't want to believe that all of the luxuries they have come to know are only temporary and will eventually be taken away.

This "shadow government" knows its enemy well.

I would suggest that we consider the fact that we have been creeping in that direction for most of a century, regardless of the supposed political flavor of those in Washington at any given time. There is a reason why, regardless of elections, the Constitution is continuously chiseled away and a change in leadership may grant a temporary reprieve in the aggressive damage done under the watch of others, but the damage never gets repaired and most often while the damage which offends us the most is suspended, other damage, less offensive by virtue of not directly affecting our lives as we choose to live them, but equally dangerous is done. Case in point, consider the alternating effects of the left's vision of an amoral nanny state tag-teaming with the right's 'law and order' approach to steamrolling 'offenders' because rights or not, by God they deserve it, ultimately bringing us the grossly misnamed PATRIOT Act.

The collapse of the US dollar will help facilitate that transition.

Men in general strive to have power, and what could be greater than to completely and literally "rule the world?" We've all probably said that at one point in our life, if only as kids playing in the back yard, or as some sort of internet hero in on-line games.

The point remains that we will continue to see power grabs, with nations gaining and losing power and influence throughout the world. There will never be one complete ruling government though, because you will always have some that refuse to acknowledge it, and there isn't a practical way to unilaterally enforce a 1 world government.

You would have too many of the bigger nations (US, China, Russia, etc.) all trying to out do each other for the largest influence (which we are already doing on a global econimic and political scale).

At best I think you would have 2 world governemnts that would be conglomerants or alliances but nothing more. The EU was yet another failed attempt and trying to form a larger government, but we've seen the result of that. Now imagine that on a larger scale and that is the kind of chaos that would ensue.

I do think that there are certainly those within our Nation and its government that do seek to combine the US with other European states, but again it would be nearly impossible to enforce.

The final thought for the religious folks reading this thread, is that all power and authority on Earth comes from an even greater authority. If it is His will that there be one world government, it could certainly happen.
