    Why have they not tried to get tanker/pumpers on site, starting thos bad boys up...lower the feed pipe over said leak, ( and after a clean cut into the pipe), lower those already running pumps over the leak ?

    or

    Expand a series of bladder-type expandable tubes, like truck-tire tubes, large of course, fill with water or air to choke off the leak, pinching it closed, like a heart operation balloon stent type thing ? ?

    I know, this is simplistic, but could it be do-able ? ?

    I'm no expert but I would imagine just about anything would be a lot more complicated when it's a mile underwater.:twocents: :popcorn:
