I added this LWRC compact stock a few days ago and really like it! It shortened my AR's OAL by 2 inches.

This is a AR10 MG made in the Netherlands in 1959 under license from Armalite. It is a Transitional model, made between the earlier Sudanese contract and later Portuguese contract rifles, and has some characteristics of each. The handguard is carved from walnut and was made before the molds were perfected for the later bakelite handguards.

I got a great deal on the gun and I learned two things from the purchase.
1) Leave a list of estimated values to assist your heirs.
2) Document the location of parts and accessories that go with each gun.

Apparently the widow/hier/executor sold this gun cheap to a reputable dealer who had little experience with C&R MG's. What really depressed the price is that the entire bolt carrier group had been misplaced so the gun was not in firing condition. On the brighter side the gun appears to be unfired. The rifle is now complete and in working order.

Got my scope mount in today; this "lightweight" upper build is complete. (the scope adds a bit of heft.)

Waiting on the ATF to okay its own dedicated lower, which will be filled with lots of V7 lightweight parts.
