    There's a lot of red flags going off in my head just watching that video. It almost looks as if the LEO tried to hand the baby off to one of the people he was talking to.

    Actually I don't believe an officer is responsible for injuries he causes in the prevention of a crime. Something about the greater good.

    I like how the cop ran to put distance between himself and the robber and to try to get the people he was with out of the line of fire. The woman almost got between them, though.

    Maybe someone could introduce a "drop the baby, don't drop the baby" scenario in a force on force class.:):

    Pffft. What a rookie. Everyone knows you throw the baby at the suspect's face as a distractionary technique. That's like Academy Day 1 type stuff.
