There's a big difference between the Federal government and a private organization like the NRA. That's like comparing hand grenades and oranges.

Never meant to imply it was the same. Just that the same people work for both. Marketing/PR firms work for whoever pays them. Their loyalty and morality are supplied by their client.

If the "people" of America actually "elected" Obammy TWICE then they sure don't seem to need much "nudging" to me. Think what you want, I worked for the NRA for 4 years. They will never change anything. Sure, their heart is in the right place but they just don't seem to "get it". A great many people despised the British Govt. in the 1700s and protested loudly, but the only ones who actually "changed" anything were the ones who picked up a rifle and said "ENOUGH!!".
