President Obama is a sly, sneaky politician on a good day. HE will not SEEK an AWB, however, he has no problems signing one into law for good of ALL Americans.(Sarcasm intended.)

Seriously, he is just saying that because there are those in the Democratic Party sorely afraid of taking a pounding in the next election. He has no problems supporting an AWB plus look at all the people in his administration "testing the waters" by calling for either gun bans or tighter restrictions.

President Obama is as anti-gun as they come. He knows guns are such a hot button issue, so he will not come out and be plainly outspoken against the 2nd Amendment. Yet, look at such appointments as Rahm Emmanual and Attorney General Eric Holder. By his actions, Presiden Obama will never, EVER, be a friend of law-abiding gun owners.

Contrast this with a certain Alaskan governor who just appointed a NRA director to be her state AG. Which of these two would be more trustworthy when stating their lack for support for a AWB?

I am still hoping for the best.... preparing for the worst. Obama is the single most benificial thing to happen to the firearm industry in the last 50 years.... and thats not a compliment.

Its a sad day when the american people are so afraid of what the presidant can/wants to do that they panic buy as many firearms, and ammunition as they have.

More effective than terrorist.

BHO has done more to arm the American population than after the 911 attacks. The firearms industry is booming, guns and ammo is are flying off the shelves and there are more gun owners now than in the history of our country. Although I believe he will pass another ban, you must admit then general population is preparing for it. The more gun owners we have the harder it will be to pass it and the more voters to vote against re-election the next go round.
