I am SOOOO glad I don't go to the mill.
I can take this heat pretty well on the outside, but not in there.
I know you worked in a hot environment. It's part of the job but days like today i really feel it

118° in the rebuilding room, which is where I spend most my time. He'll, it was 105° at 7am this morning

Oh, yours is probably a bigger percentage of time in the heat.
I'd have to go cool down. Or in between jobs I'd use the A/C like a respirator.
I only got stretchered out once for the heat.

This is the first year in the 20 I've been there I actually have AC in the office. It definitely helps but only get to really use it when I take lunch. At least I'm not soaking my sandwich in sweat when I eat anymore

Which brand of leafguard did you get? I need to do something, but my initial attempt didn't work out too well, so I'm still cleaning them by hand, actually mostly the blower.

Thanks very much. I'm going to do a test run like you did. I have both Locus and maple trees that dump into my gutters. Constant mess. My roof is not steep, so I keep it blown out pretty good, but between the two types of trees, it's always something.

That's a bit overboard, unless you are hovering below 90. IN that case, you should go to the ER.

My oxygen level has been fine throughout this. I don't think these latest strains of the virus affect the lungs as much as the earlier versions. Or at least that's my understanding. My fever has broken, and I'm mostly back to normal, except for the fatigue. The fatigue is a real thing. Little bit of body aches still remain also, but I'm going to count myself lucky that it wasn't worse than it is.

Thanks for all the well wishes everybody.
