I checked around 3pm and had measured 5.5 inches total since Thursday afternoon. This latest storm was surely good for another 1-2.

Said it on fb too but if the NWS wouldn’t sound off with a tornado warning at every thunderstorm people would likely care more. Sat at Cracker Barrel this afternoon when a hundred phones started screaming TORNADO!!!!! Everyone in the place shut up their device and continued eating, absolutely everyone. Seems like I remember reading a story about a boy and a wolf in 3rd grade that would be very relevant here.

But a tornado warning means a tornado has been sighted, I don't think it's unreasonable for them to warn us every single time.

I use Weather Underground. Mainly because it has one of the better maps I have seen, and it will show me the readings from my weather station.
