A trip wire hooked to my 20 gauge coach gun would work too.
    But the neighbors might complain.

    Had a thought last night...
Something that has worked temporarily (remember that these are extremely smart animals)

Soak a few rag/newspaper wad/tennis ball with ammonia. Toss them into the attic / crawl space.
With their keen sense of smell, they can't deal with the irritant.

Will only last for a couple of days until the ammonia evaporates, but it will clear them out long enough to seal up the entry points.

An old extension cord. Cut off the female end and separate the wires. Strip both ends. Attach the Neutral to the cage. Run the Positive through the Reece cup and fray and splay the end on top of it. Mix a gallon of very salty water on the ground and place the trap in the puddle. Plug in the extension cord. I hope you didn't have it plugged in all this tome.

    Toasted raccoon.

DK, what time you figuring to be there? I'm trying to juggle things to be able to make it. Wife just had a knee replacement, so I probably shouldn't, but she's got sisters to help her, so ....

    .

Me and the daughter should be there about 10am Winamac time. We'll probably stay at least till 2pm

If any of you don't need to work at the moment go out side in your yard or whatever. It's literally perfect out.

Yep, it was a beautiful day today, and tomorrow will be great also. I get to fill the cracks in my concrete driveway tomorrow. Whoo boy.
