Possible big oops could seriously affect Hobart and Merrillville school districts. And I would pretty much guarentee it will trickle down to the taxpayer eventually

“It’s unfortunate that communities could be forced to have to find a means to pay back the entity," said Snedecor said.
    NO.
It is unfortunate that you charged TOO MUCH and someone had to figure out they were overcharged, and FIGHT to correct it.
    :xmad:
The Post Office screwed around and overcharged my American Legion Post for bulk mail.
When we finally were able to prove they overcharged, we were told "tough luck" on being reimbursed.

I know some experts in bulk mail. They've been doing it since 1985. PM me if you'd like more info.

    .

nah. Not worth looking up when they overcharged.
And I stopped putting the newsletter out, and no one would take over.
I told them I can't do the Finance Officer duties (which are almost daily) or the newsletter (which is quarterly).
The Bar Manager got shafted and took over the Finance, but no one took over the letter.

I just couldn't do all my hours at work, and then do that stuff. I was wore out.

I thought that might be the one. I pass by there occasionally and look for your escape, but I never see it. I also look for it when I pass by Vets Restaurant.

Really, I haven't been to the legion in a long while.
Even if I'm at home, I'm either too tired, or I have something to do. Dishes, laundry, grass, etc.
The last meeting, I was working doubles on both Saturday AND Sunday.

The person I took shooting was a co-owner of the Vets Café.
They're open for business Fri-Sat-Sun. But the cater a school lunch Mon-Fri. So it was hard to find a time. We went today after the got done with the lunch.

Took a first timer to the range.
Started with my Heritage Rough Rider in .22LR.
After a while, switched the cylinder to .22mag.

Then stepped up to the S&W model 19, 38 special.
Stepped up to .357. I was worried she wouldn't like the kick. But she shot it 13 times. So it must have been okay.

    Then over to semi-auto with the S&W M&P .22

Then we ran out of time.
It had been an hour with a new shooter, so I didn't want to go too long.

But I had the Baretta 9mm for next.

And I had the 2 suppressors.

Though I found out I need an adapter for the .22
I'll have to figure out what I need.
Thanks for the invitation, I'd have gone to help as well.

    Figured you'd be at work.
We went over the guns and safety, and had her putting the guns in her hands and learning aboutthem at the Veteran's Café ..
So that we weren't wasting time on the clock.
Then we were at the range 4-5 pm.

There was a lot of fail coming from .gov employees in that article.

“It’s like you budget for house payments. You plan on getting paid 12 months out of the year, well now you’re getting paid for 8," Wieser said.
No. It's like you get extra money in your check that shouldn't be there, and then you have to pay it back.

“We understand the assessed value went down. We don’t understand the repayment,” Brown said.
They should obviously be able to keep the stolen money, since they already had it.

“It’s like a paycheck. Do you hang on to it because you may have to pay it back? No, you don’t,” she said.
You do if the money shouldn't have been your to begin with.

The comments on the article suck.
All kinds of people thinking they shouldn't have to pay the money back.
    IT'S FOR THE CHILDREN.

Take too much from their tax, and tell them they can't get it back. Watch them whine.

I don't understand why the Merrillville school district (corp) would bear more burden for the 'overpayment' than the town/city of Merrillville? Yes, I am ignorant.

    .

    This? Does anyone know?

    Also NAPA auto store sucks!!!
    (Their online store)
They have a 20% off flash sale and you are suppose to use the code SAVE20. When you try that code it says invalid.
