I had looked at buying the pistol version and then going through the process... Deal killer was the need for another magazine type to buy to run it... plus I think the Beretta Storm even with the 16 inch barrel is lighter over all than the Scorpion...

It appears the CX4 is 5.5lbs and the Scorpion is 5lbs.

Granted, that is the pistol version vs the carbine but as an SBR I'll bet they come in the same.

The CX4 isn't an option for me because it is rifle length with pistol capabilities. The ability for the scorpion to get nice and compact for CQB work was the deal winner for me.

I've been waiting for my PST to show up since November when I ordered it...

Jedi, go back in your room... No more winter...

Turnandshoot... running the same magazines for both your pistol and your carbine is priceless.... if your running a 9mm for your carbine that is...

Did I mention I wish my PST would come in...

Who did you buy it from and why is it taking so long?

Blythes... Not sure why, although I called Vortex direct thursday and they said they seen the order and would get it shipped out this next week...

It is the last part before I tear down my Remy 700 PSS and do a rebuild on her... Once the scope is in I only have to get the barrel threaded and I'm waiting on the duracoat still.... but pretty close to doing the face lift on her...

Well I've got a history of being able to make payments on stuff... but yeah I'm disappointed in the length of time to get the scope in...

Turnandshoot... well it's a weight thing but I'm also a Beretta fanatic...

Snap... you got that 649... I looked at her but I got too many gun purchases going on... Nice to hear you got that little gem...

Yep. We walked out the door right at closing time, and I decided I had to go back in and make him an offer.
