I used to work for stracks twenty years ago as loss prevention. Grocery stores are no longer the same.I miss old grocery shopping.

Dominicks.
Ken Foods-Lansing
Even Ultra.
I hated Aldi for forever due to the lines. Now we got the E checkouts..
They better do $1 ……. To account for inflation people are gonna start scrapping the cartsThe quarter thing is coming to Walmart soon at least for some test markets.
I agree, I’d rather not talk to people either. I’m surprised I chiming in here. People are usually disappointing, here included. Post a gun for sale and accept the offer a then say they aren’t comfortable with person to person sale. But then post offers still being accepted. Odd is odd, and I’m odd enough.Eeeewwwww
U want jedi 2 talk 2 people? Strangers!!!
No.
jedi normally gets only fruits and veggies at aldi so a big is all jedi tends to need.
U realize it will be slower and a hot mess as people don't scan fast or worse have to look up stuff especially for produce.
Can't stand thr strak ones for talking after every action.
Try going to Jewel in CP. The cashiers want to talk to you the whole time. What are you making? That looks good! I made meatloaf last night, is that what you’re making….

Three questions are needed at the most.
Beyond that prepared for sarcastic and or ridiculous answers.
1. Do you have any coupons
2. Paper or plastic
3. Do you need help out
Our society has became disposable and wasteful. Plastic one time use… ridiculous amounts of packaging….things built to NOT last…. Appliances cars etc.. There’s no TV repair man anymore you just buy a new one.C da issue is you said crown point. Eeewww
That is south of us30 and everything south is eeeewwww.
Don't think jedi has ever had that level of interaction with a cashier north of us30 apart from paper or plastic.
Oh BTW walmart is also going away from plastic bags. Reusable only u can either bring your own or buy them at their store.
Have to find the article on the 10 changes from 2023. The news video jedi saw was talking about how the change is affecting landfills not in a good way.
The guy talking said they had so many reusable canvas bags that people would just dump that they can't recycle its too expensive. It was much easier to recycle the plastic ones.
Probably because he unionizedOur society has became disposable and wasteful. Plastic one time use… ridiculous amounts of packaging….things built to NOT last…. Appliances cars etc.. There’s no TV repair man anymore you just buy a new one.
The cigar lounge is still there, just no longer owned by Melensdad. Not by Pine Island, unless it was a different one. The one I have gone to is just west of 41. I went to a couple of meetups there before. I remember Andy giving me a grape cigar to smoke because I had never smoked one.I remember back in the day we used to meet up. I mean years ago. I think the last time I went was at the cigar shop that used to be by Pine Island Apartments in S’ville.
Not being wasteful is old school…..? What I am saying is recycling a TV??? Not gonna happen. so it ends up in a land fill they make so many of them and so cheap that people simply throw them out instead of having them repaired which equals waste.Lots of old school thinking here.
Once a position/career dies, there is room for other areas of improvement/opportunity.
Sure, is almost everything geared to make big Corpo more money nowadays and also fluff foreign markets. It is what it is....
Did the milk man go and blow his brains out cause his job got taken over by a more efficient process? No he adapted into another career..... Possibly delivering my q tips via a grey truck now
I might have gotten the location wrong. I’m assuming it was the one Melensdad owned. The cigar lounge is still there, just no longer owned by Melensdad.
