I was delayed a few hours flying out of O'Hare yesterday by the ice. Thought my flight would get out before the worst of it. I was wrong.

The ice last night was terrible. I was in Hobart with my kid and we didn't even pay attention to what was going on outside. Left around 8pm and it was insane. Driving my 330ci 5spd with summer tires... no bueno. I-65 was stressful. Then this morning... Good thing they hadn't plowed yet when i left for work. Never would have gotten out of the driveway in that little hockey puck.
