Days like today are letting drivers know the condition of their vehicle. Lot of cars on the side of the road. Quite a few desils struggling.

My son wants a compact/midsize tractor so we are going to the St Paul area this morning and into Wisconsin to look at some he has found. I am riding along just to give sage advice and the wisdom of old people. :)

My first winter with a diesel was certainly a learning experience. The hard way like normal.
I've been running multiple personal diesel vehicles for many years and the winter blends seem to have gotten better as of about 10 years ago. First couple years required additives to keep the fuel from gelling into goo. Have not put any additives into my tanks for years.

Used to have a 1000 gallons of fuel in storage, I would put additives in the big tank because I filled up in warm weather. Got rid of that tank 6-7 years ago.

Mine was summer blend in a 7.3 I barely drove and decided to drive it in one of those insanely cold days we get gelled up right outside my subdivision

Does he want a Antique / Older model as there are multiple good deals on Kubota or Rural King in this area
